Over the Memorial Day weekend, the Boston Whiplash volt hockey team headed north to Toronto for the very first North American Volt Hockey Tournament hosted by Variety Village.
After two days of intense gameplay and fierce competition against 7 other teams from across Canada, the Boston Whiplash emerged triumphant, earning the silver medal in a riveting final match against the Variety Village Vipers.
Thank you to Variety for being such gracious hosts and putting together an event that will surely be a staple in the volt hockey community for years to come. We can’t wait to return next year for a rematch! But until then, it’s time to get back to practice for the Volt Hockey World Cup in Sweden later this year!
